John Carter

별기대 없이 본 영화인데, 재밌게 보았다.
나중에 안 사실인데, 80-90년대 헤비메탈 잡지 표지 스타일로 포스터를 만든거란고 한다.
나는 포스터가 너무 너무 이상했었는데, 문화적 차이인것 같다. 미국사람들은 열광한다고 한다.

이야기를 전혀 모르고 봐서, 종잡을 수 없는 이야가를 따라가느라고 재밌었다.
스타워즈를 연상시키는 외계인들이 나왔지만, 원작때문인지( 화성의 공주?) 가상의 세계가 믿을만했다.
나는 무조건 이런 있지도 않은 세계완 세계관을 창조하는 사람들이 존경스럽다.
신이 왜 인간들을 괴롭히느지는 내가 영어가 부족해서인지, 이해할수가 없었다.
내가 이해한 바로는 나쁜신이다!
공주와 존카터의 캐미가 별로 느껴지지 않았다.
존카터가 공주에게로 돌아가려는 행동이 별로 간절하지 않게 느껴졌다.
신기한것은, 존카터가 다시 지구로 돌아오는 장면을 내가 꿈으로 꿨다는거다.
이영화를 볼려고 예지몽을 꿨나 싶다. 하하하.

6 Shawshank Redemption
The lighting shows character's emotions before he commits suicide.
Dapple sun lights in the park and curtain shadow in the hotel show his outside and inside conflicts. (5:38- 6:20)
And, his face is always in shadow until he looks up the ceiling and suicide. (6:55)
It is sad, but, beautiful.

11.After Life  by Hirokazu Kore-eda
Souls arrive at a way station between life and death, where they are asked to choose just one memory to take into the afterlife.
For interview shots, the camera angles are all the same, so you can see very the subtle  lighting/set changes.
I like that they framed the people between two windows as if they are in stuck between life and death.

Opening shot and Ending shot is very clever. The shots  look like that somebody is shooting with a video camera with a tripod.
The long still shot looks  bored visually, but, powerful because it is different.
It looks very realistic and makes audience to be engaged more.

Tuvalu

상징적인 영화를 보면 숨통이 트이는것 같고, 두뇌가 핑핑 도는 느낌이 든다!!
본지 오래되서 기억이 잘 않나는데, 단추를 뜯는 모습이 인상적이다.
다시 한번 봐야겟다.

어린이가 나오는 영화는 너무 슬프다.
특히 어린이가 부모없이 여행을 떠나는 영화는 무지 슬프다.
엄마찿아 삼만리가 그렇고,
은하철도 구구구 도 그렇고,
얼마전에 본 고래를 보러 자전거 타고 가는 어린이 영화( 제목을 모르겠음)도 그렇고,

어린이들은 고래를 찿아, 말을 찿아, 엄마를 찿아, 영원한 생명을 찿아 여행을 떠난다.
그리고 그곳에서 엄마를 만난다.

엄마는 그렇게 어린이들에게 꿈이고 희망이고 고향이다.
이영화가 어떻게 보면 진부한 이 소제를 특별하게 만든이유는....
연출인것 같다.

물속에 빠져서 살짝 보이는 엄마의 손,
엄마의 마차를 태울때 보이는 말,
이 감동을 살짝살짝 너무 찐한 감동이 아니라, 등줄기에 살짝 느껴지는 감동을 준다.

강요되는 감동, 슬픔이 아니라,
예상하지 못하는 순간에 따뜻한 감동을 준다.

Un Jour (Un día) - Subtitulado

하루.. 라는 제목의 짧은 단편.
분명 판화가 주는 느낌이 있습니다. ... 간단하지만 힘이 있는.
정성(공) 이 들어간 느낌이 있습니다.
여기서 주는 판화의 느낌은  빛과 그림자로 분위기가 강조된 느낌입니다.

그리고 화면의 연결과 동작에 따라 발견되는, 서프라이즈 반전.
패닝 다운 하면서 보여주는, 배에 달려있는 인간. ( 2중적 자아라고 느낌)
장면 전환하면서 보여주는, 구멍 뚫린 배를 보면서 나는 신선함을 느꼈습니다.
구멍 뚫린 배를 통해 보는 세상이 왠지 쓸쓸하면서도, 시원한 느낌이 들었어요.

2중적 자아는 있을땐 귀챦지만, 없어지면 시원섭섭한 느낌이 들것 같아요.
나레이션이 무슨 뜻인지 알아듣지 못해서 답답하지만, 느낌으로 어느정도 감정은 전달 된것 같습니다.
